Kids fun run

There was a triathlon this weekend that Bill was the race director for.  He hired me to be the race photographer.  It was super fun!  Chris came and helped out as a second photographer for me.  He did a great job!  The girls ran the kids fun run and Taylor won the whole race!!!  She did an amazing job!  She had a look on her face of pure determination while she was running!  It was great!  Kylah did an awesome job too!  She came in 3rd with all smiles!

The weekend...

It was a great weekend. Friday I finished an engagement shoot. This was a 2 session shoot. The first one was in the rain! Chris stood over me with an umbrella so my camera didn't get wet. (thanks baby!) I absolutely love how the pictures turned out! The 2nd session was at a lake in St Joe at sunset. They will be on the other blog soon. Saturday, I photographed a wedding in Luxemberg and Sunday was a day to relax! We took the kids to Granite City for lunch and then we all went for a nice bike ride on Wobegon Trail. Taylor made it 6 miles! I was really proud of her. This week is going to be busy so I don't know how much blogging I will get in. Plus i'm not one to type! I'll talk your ear off, but to sit down and type my thoughts isn't natural for me. I'm trying! I really like to post pictures!

Home again!

The girls and I are home from Fargo. It was a very busy trip trying to see everyone in just a couple days. It was so nice to see my Aunt, Uncle and Grandma who just moved to Fargo from Arizona. It'll be nice to have them closer so we can see them more. I wish we could have spent more time with everyone. Thank you Crazy Auntie Silly Sarah for letting us stay with you. I love your new house!

Fabulous Weekend!

I'm off to Fargo for a couple days, but here's what we did this past weekend. Saturday Chris and I took the boat out to the river and cruised around for awhile. We ran into some friends out there so we chatted for a bit, then the weather went from sunny to dark clouds and thunder! We hurried and took the boat out as fast as we could! Saturday night we went to the Veranda with our friends Dave and Jenny. If you've never been to the Veranda you need to go! It is hands down the coolest place to go in St Cloud. It's a wine bar and they always have live music. Its a great time!

Sunday was GORGEOUS out! We took the boat back out with some good friends and took all the kids tubing. After that Deb and Jesse came back to our place for pizza, wine and a bonfire! (I'll post Deb and Jesse's family pictures soon on my other blog)

Memorial Weekend!

Memorial weekend was a lot of fun this year! We got to see all the Foss's! Grandma and Grandpa Great came to the cabin and stayed for the weekend. The rest of the Foss gang came over on Sunday for the afternoon and evening. Grandpa Great brought his famous brats that he gets in Lake City. Chris and I did some fishing. The girls got to play with Sarah and Garrett, their cabin buddies! All the kids wanted to do the whole weekend was go tubing even though the weather was cold and rainy at times that didn't stop them one bit! I'll post the tubing pics soon.

The girls and I were out walking and I almost stepped on this little guy! He's so cute! The kids played with turtle for bit and then set him free.






























This is the newest addition to our family! Brooklyn is 4 months now and she is just the cutest baby! Just look at that smile and those dimples. We love getting together with the Foss side of the family! I wish we could see them more!


















Fishing is my most favorite thing to do at the cabin! The lake is so peaceful and beautiful, and I love spending time with my husband! Daisy is hilarious! Every time we catch a fish, she will growl at it and try to bite its tail. We caught a bunch of crappies and had them for breakfast the next day! The best fish batter is to take a box of shore lunch and a can of beer! We've tried to be all fancy and find good recipes but nothing tops this one for taste!































We just happened to all be wearing blue so we had to take a picture! In this photo is Chris and I and Taylor with Grandpa and Grandma Great!
